Have been busy with "home care" of a wife losing to terminal cancer. The race just ended as I got home from work today. Cancer 1 - wife 0. Will be back as things/time allows. Now the REAL work begins, contacting family & friends - THEN turning the landlords field into a BIG parking lot. Later.....

Oh man, I know that's really rough to go through. The rest of it is still hard, but not like what you've been through already.


A simple prayer for you ~

Dear Lord;
Comfort a fine man who has been through a lot, and help him in the days to come.
Heal him body spirit and soul so that his life has a new beginning, rather than have it seem to be a punishment.
Let his house be filled with health and happiness, for those of us who have losses often find it hard to be happy again.

Thanks much !!! Been there / done that before, just not with a person that I've lived with for 40+ years. We're dealing with it. Daughter has been here as home care for the past few months. Been aware of "the condition" during the downhill slide. Hospice was here also and helped bunches.

 

Sorry for your loss. Cancer has taken both my grandmothers , my dad & my best friend. My mom is a 40 yr cancer surviver. I'll put you on my prayer list. I know too well how much this loss hurts.
