I purchased a set of 4 16" alloy lariet wheels to use with winter tires for my wife's '04, but she traded it in on an '06. The new truck has different backspacing, so I am selling these for what I paid for them.

4 wheels that are stock take off's. 16" with 8 lug 170mm complete with center caps. Two full center caps for the rear tires and two caps with the cut out to access 4WD hubs. I am at work right now and can't take a picture of my actual wheels, but here is a picture of the same style wheels. Picture of same style wheel

I have a set of these wheels with Bridgestone Blizzaks for my 2004 truck and love them. Also would be a good upgrade for someone with steel wheels on their truck who wants the polished alloy look.

TT I still have my American Racing with tires from my 04. Looks like I will have to do the same since I have not been able to sell them here. I will give it one more try locally then off to Anchorage.

I am also going to stop by the used car lot also. Sometimes they buy them to dress up otherwise plain trucks, it helps them sell faster.

 

Ah good idea. I might drag them to Anchorage my next trip over and give that an idea.

 

I went to TDS and looked at wheels for my 2006. They have a set of 18" alloys I can trade my 16" wheels for. Now looking at Cooper Discover ST in 275/65/18 E rated. These are an aggressive tire which are studdable and I am also going to have the inner tread blocks siped. Should make for a great winter tire. They are spendy, it's like $1300 for all 4 tires mounted and balanced.

Tire Distribution Systems. They're a national tire chain. I think they have locations in Fairbanks, Anchorage, Wasilla.

BTW, I bought my 16" wheels from them, that's why they're letting me trade them for the 18" wheels.

 

Ah I see. Nope I got my rims from American Tire. Already called about trading them in but they said no on a trade in. Drats. Guess I will put them up for sale. Looking to get a new car hauler next summer. Maybe I can get it with ford 8-hole hubs and have them put on. Just a thought.

2 or 4 wheel drive? What is wrong with motor? Need good truck for 16 year old!

 

full time four wheel drive. When I first got the truck, it had sat for tens years. Engine blew alot of blue smoke, thought it might be rings, also thinking that the rings may just be stuck because it hasnt run in so long. Havnt driven it what so ever, interior is cherry now. No rust to speak of. drivers door is dented in. Missing passenger window. All the lights, turn signals, wipers, vents work. 360 engine with auto. Replaced all the basics; battery and cables, plugs and wires, rotor and cap, starter solinoid, flushed the coolant, changed front and rear diff fluids, oils been changed a couple of times.
Thought that i was going to have time to restore it, but now its just sitting like it did before, so I'm looking to get it to someone who'll drive it.
