Any one have a set of manual trailer tow mirrors to fit a '04 250 they want to get rid off? Also has anyone installed OEM cab lights. Dealer will do it....$500.00 that includes parts and labor, but I'm looking for a cheaper route....--Chris

Here is a site that even has pictures (gota love the simple instructions) that show how to install clearance light. That is what you are talking about (cab lights)? If not oopps, good site either way. About $65 if you do it yourself

PS I sent you a PM about electric brake controllers.

Hey mlb4966, thanks for the link. Looks like it will be helpful. Once I get the lights and then the nerve to drill holes in my roof, I'll install them. Again thanks for this link and the other info too.

Tony, just wondering why you're selling them and not putting them on your new truck? I have been considering a set of these, but have not made up my mind yet.

On the 2000 350 that I had them on I put a front leveling kit and when I bought the trailer I hooked it up and it squatted about 2 inches and made the front ride high. It definately felt like the tail was wagging the dog. I put the air bags on and it made the difference between night and day.

The 2003 that I have now doesn't have the front leveling kit and when I put the trailer on it sits perfectly level.

When I had the hitch installed I had them put it 2"'s forward of the axle to help distribute the weight more evenly through the frame, The mounting brackets for the 5th wheel hitch are now in the way of the mounting brackets for the air bags. But that's ok because this truck pulls the trailer great.

I want to get a Diesel Excursion, but I need to get some more room in my driveway.

I have a '92 Bronco ($4500)and '78 Crewcab ($1000) that want new owners!
The '92 is in good shape, the '78, well it is an old truck that runs good.

1966 ford crew cab

hey guys i have a 1966 ford f350 crew cab i picked up in wasilla. I want to convert it to a 4x4 and someone told me that at one time someone had a rollling chassis for a 65 crewcab 4x4. but they couldn't remember who. normally i would just throw some newer suspension underneath it, but i have a big six lug pattern that i would like to keep. So if anyone knows about this, please keep me posted. also i have lots of parts from the 60s and 70s. let me know what you need. also this truck has stock 17 inch rims...crazy huh? I want to buy the original size tires that were 7.50x17s and 33" tall. if anyone knows where I could find some again, I'd appreciate it. And congrats on the new alaska chapter.
