Last night I held my granddaughter for the first time. Now that my friends is happy! I'm 42 and seeing my son with his daughter wow!!!

 

Carving up 2-3' of virgin powder makes me happy. Or riding through mother nature on a nice crisp fall morning. Or landing a 20+lb spring salmon. Well, alot of others too, but I don't have that kind of time.

 

I'm going to have to borrow a couple lines from a song some of you might recognize...

"Four by four, straight pipe roar, primer and rust all over the door..."

 

Oh the thing that makes me second happy is girls! (The first thing that makes me happy is 61-79 trucks!)

 

Yeah, forgot cheerleaders...

 

What makes me happy is singing country music, and people telling me how big my calfs are. I also love hot girls that are diggin me. But im still not shallow.

 

My girlfriend, my dog, quality time with my parents and sister (even though I live with my folks this is rare, and even rarer with my sister as shes in graduate school), big trucks, those brief moments of calm during the dinner rush when everyones laughin' and bsing and you have a moment to think and grab a smoke, truly good food (Michelin three star, grandma's beef stew, some cheap diner, doesn't matter, so long as its good I have no bias), having something to work on or for, driving in general, all these things make me happy.

Also, the little things that come with those bigger things make me the happiest. The way my girl looks when shes really, truly smiling. My dogs snoring even when shes awake. Things like that, they wash away all the crap in life.

 

Charging down a trail in my truck, runnin over tress, going down streams, through mud pits
Biking up the ridge of a mountain, turning around then bombing back down it
Riding an ocean wave
Running and jumping off a cliff and free falling through the air
Hanging out with my good freinds, cooking out on the beach
My family
Floatin around the pool drinking some beer on a hot day

 

girls, trucks, muscle cars, and the smell of diesel fuel.

 

and im happier than a pig in slop when im in the Diesel hauling something on a road trip,, so guess what my occupation will be?

 

For me, a good happy relationship takes preference over all else. After that, a good running truck.

 

Well what makes me happy would beHarley Davidsons I am a big sucker for a Harley, working on trucks, girls, driving, and having some fun.

I love my job and love making my own money.

 

Guns, friends, trucks, old fashioned things, God, work. I am simple. I am proud of my empire of dirt.

 

Old thread but... Playing my guitar on stage, spending time with good friends, doing work with/on my truck, being outdoors, and seeing something that i made getting used are a lot of the things that make me happy.
