Come on Steve, don't try and fool us. We know you work with a trowel in one hand, and your laptop in the other!!

You should be more like me. You know, constant worker, ever productive.....

Already done. Finally got that dirt out of there (that's what the trailer load was) and took it over to another job where it is needed. Dumped it, returned the trailer and called it a day. I like his time of year when you can start working at 6:00 or so.

Finish grading tomorrow, pour and finish on Friday.

I don't mind starting at six, like we are now. It's that getting up at 4 am that I hate!

I like the early morning. Best part of the day, far as I'm concerned. Getting up from sleep pretty much sucks no matter when you do it - until you compare it to the alternative.

I don't mind morning, just not too early! I'm not much of a morning person.

And your right......the alternative sucks!

Steve, is your Ruger the old model with tang safety? Or the new style? I have an early one in .270 and personally prefer the old style.

Regarding shooting ranges, my brother shoots regularly at Burro Canyon and I prefer Angeles. Burro is actually closer to me. Angeles is more regimented as far as safety and procedures. I think Burro is a little more wild west, although they have improved things I understand since Fish Canyon closed. Either place is MUCH better if you can get out on a weekday. I stick to Fridays for my visits as much as possible.

West End is membership only. I have a friend who is a member. I think it's $180/year and you have to be sponsored by another member and approved by the range master. That's okay I guess, just don't drive out there unawares. Combined with the drive I didn't find it worth the money.

Bill
