Street Rodders

They're here.......... Once again we have the Rocky Mountain National Street Rod Association gathering at the State Fair grounds here in Pueblo! ! ! Normally have over 2000 street rods on display. I probably won't get out this year, but have found the rods to be great, regardless of the combination of body/motor/running gear, etc. I personally don't give a rats butt what the combination is, I just enjoy seeing the results of some very hard and imaginative work on these rods.

Anyone else going or have gone to this in the past?

I went to one at PPIR a long time ago.

Seems only time I go to Pueblo is to ride/race at PMI.

I listen to the sounds from PMI as I live in Pueblo West. I've been here 5 years now and never been there for any event. One day I will get off my dead butt and go! I understand there are problems now with management of the place. Future may be up in the air.

Attendance was down slightly this year. Also didn't see near the numbers out cruising over the weekend either, probably due to gas prices. Always great to see the rodders here, and the weather this past weekend was pretty good for them. They didn't have to dodge any hail storms ! ! ! ! Seems like the last couple of years they had to run for cover many times.
