rear outer axel seal leaking

rear outer axel seal leaking
on my 2001 f250 my rear axel has stated leaking at the outer seals. not a bad job, ive done them before, my Q is after i get the axel removed and go to pull the hub off what size socket do i need. the last one i did on my old 98 dodge i use a screwdriver and BFH. i dont really like cutting corners with my superduty. and another Q. is there any tips on doing this or anything to watch out for because i've never done this on a ford axel (witch i'm sure its basiclly the same) thanx for the replys
