For the 2.8L... the firing order is 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 the distributor rotation is clockwise, hope this helps.

Well the I6 4.9L's is 1-5-3-6-2-4 Distributor rotation clockwise. Try to make sure you give the right info mate
EDIT: Wait a sec, is an Inline-Six or a VShape-Six?
