Wanted to buy or trade: ford tailgate 53-72, short bed, step side. It needs to be the one that is approximately 19" tall. Gate must be in great condition. No junk.


I have an express bed tailgate (20 3/4" tall) that is nearly mint if anyone needs one and wants to trade.

If I can't find one, I will have to shorten the one I have, but I would rather avoid the work.

Cleaning out the garage and the yard.

Up for grabs a 1983 F250 parts only, I bought this truck for the front clip, doors and was going to swap axles but it had the same front axle my flat bed has so I just took the hubs off.

full size bed in fair shape $150

Front axle belive to be a d44 hd 3:55 gears minus the hubs $150
rear axle not sure what it is no tag, minus the springs $150
rear and front drive shafts $30 each or $50 pair

I have 2 transmissions that came with this truck, I know nothing about them, previous owner was swapping out the 4 speed to a auto.
C-6 and a 4 speed belive for a big block. motor that was pulled was a 352. $150 each

I also have 2 different transfer cases for the above transmissions. I will look sunday and see what they are. $150 each

I'm looking for the bed or complete telephone truck from the 40's or 50's. It doesn't matter if the bed is off of a non-ford as I believe the beds were the same. Generally the telephone company used trucks manufactured by the big 3 automakers but the beds were manufactured by a select few outside companies and were generic to fit all brands of trucks.

Would consider a telephone bed in any condition even if condition is so bad as to be only good for a pattern. I've got pictures of early telephone trucks that I can send to show what I'm looking for.

Guys - I'm talking about your standard 1/2 ton installer truck not the big heavy duty line trucks or pole setting trucks. The bed I'm looking for would fit on a standard F1 or F100 1/2 ton pickup.

1990 302 engine for sale. May need new rings condition of the inside of the engine is un-known. $100 OBO

1993 saturn SL2 202k miles on car has new engine, clutch, Throw out bearings and presure plate. Clutch leaks fluid and trans leaks. Engine doesnt run right and i'm not sure why. All parts on engine are brand new. Sun roof power everything. $2000 OBO

Truck has good 351M and C-6.Also has good w/s,rt door glass,rt frt fender,tail lights,headliner,tilt steering column,radiator,frt brake rotors and 15" aluminum slotted mags.Lt door is good except for a little rust on the bottom inside.Lt fender is good except for a small dent.A/C system is all there and blows cool air.9 inch rear end has 2.75 gears.No title.$250.00 for whole truck or will part out.
