Thanks fellro86. I have a 71 so that's what I'm looking to pick up.

By saying that, I am saying you can use up to 79 model year tail gates.

Sad thing is, I know where at least one is, but not likely to get it away from my in-laws... The handle is a little different, so if you are concerned with originality, it won't be dead on. If you more concerned with general look and functionality, you can go as new as 79. It depends what you are willing to pay, but Doug's 4-wheelers had listed one recently, but as usual for them, they are proud of it at $300. Keep an eye on Craigs List, I see them every so often. Nothing else, hold on for a few months and the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids swap meets will come back around.

Hey guys new to the site. Seems this thread has been dead for awhile so trying to bump it. I'm looking for both doors on my 78 F-250 Ranger. Took my mirrors off to prime the truck but when I went to put them back in it punched these big gapping holes right through the door. Let me know what you have I'm located in Des Moines and would be willing to travel with a 75 mile radius.

I am short on good extras, but if you come across some from the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City area, I can certainly bring them to the DM area for you.

I actually found some. Best part is I got 4 for the price of 2. I'm moving in a couple of weeks and have no need for the two extra nor do I really want to haul them around with me. From the little I actually looked at them they seem to be in good shape, a little rust but did not look to bad to where it cant be easily patched up. They would need sanded and painted though because prev owner did one hell of a number on them trying to prime them. They came off a 78 F-250. If anybody wants them let me know I'll let both go for 100 just to get rid of them. I can meet in Des Moines area or can ship if you pay the shipping. I'll look closer tomorrow but pretty sure both still have all the glass and guts in good working order.

Well I'm back in search of more doors. Needing two doors for a 73-79 F-250. Hopefully as rust free as possible for being in a salt state.

2005 F350 CC Dually for sale

Year: 2005
Make: Ford
Model: F-350
Price: $0
Mileage: 177500
Color: "Arizona Beige"
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): IA
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD
Color: Beige
Engine: 6.0 Power Stroke

For Sale: 2005 F350 Lariat, crew cab, dually, 4x4 with lockout hubs. 6.0L PSD, all stock, which means not studded or deleted. When I bought it, it ran fine and still does, so I didn't see the need to tear into it before absolutely necessary, as well as not having the luxury of not having the truck to use while it was getting work done to it. I used this truck as a tow rig, which it did very well, but don't have any use for it now, and don't want to see it just sitting in the shed unused. Truck is well-maintained, looks good and runs fine. It has 177500 highway miles on the odometer. I bought it in 2010; previous owner was a retired semi-truck driver who used it to deliver RV's across the country. It has both hitches, factory trailer brake controls, and upfitter switches. Interior is as nice as any Lincoln that came off the assembly line; leather captain's chairs, heated & power front seats, climate control, adjustable pedals, tilt, cruise, power windows (including rear slider), AM/FM/6-CD stereo with AUX, and sunroof. Tires have less than 5000 miles on them. Ford painted it something they call "Arizona Beige", which I tend to call "brown-ish" rather than truly "beige".

Asking $15000 for it, which is what a mechanic friend of mine said a truck in this condition tends to go for. I'm not stuck hard & fast to that number, though, and will consider any offers. Located in Southern Iowa. Contact me with a PM if interested, and thanks for looking.
