OK, a few weeks back, (don't know why I am starting this so late)
I met with a fellow FTE member, RussB. Well, I must say that it was a heck of a positive experience. Russ drove up from Victoria for some business and was in the area, so we decided to hook up for a beer. Great guy with many of the same interests such as PMS and hunting etc. Turns out we even knew some of the same people through the six degrees of separation rule. Small world sometimes. Anyways, thanks to this site I met one nice and generous guy, and look forward to hopefully meeting more of you one day.
Great community of people here.

Hey Ryan. Just saw this now ! I can also same the same buddy ! It was good to see your truck and go for a test drive and hang out with ya for a couple of hours.. I planned to see ya on the way out of town...... but it didn't quite work out as it should have ! Damm work got in the way !

See ya in a couple of weeks or so !!!! I'll have the DP by then ! Maybe I will keep in in the box until I come up there so we can install it along with a couple of beers ! Ya right !!! There's no frickin way that I'm waiting to put it in !!!! Sorry Bud !

You can help me with my leaking up-pipes though !!!!! LOL !!!

I'll have to find some bellowed ones to play with ! Thanks again for the beers !!

I've met several over the years and to a man they have all been great guys to know.

Russ, let me know when you figure you will be arriving, I'll keep the beer chilled, the tools handy and a few mods on hands to install when you plan the next trip. I still need to put on my 05 headlights, and tru-cool, so since yard work is getting in the way, maybe I'll wait?

Oh, so you have met him too?

 

I just went out and spent the morning with STROKIN'IT7.3, he was generous enough to show me some basic maintenance and fluid/filter changes, we even had time to do the CCV mod

Good guy, he's got quite the setup there. He had just installed the DP tuner earlier in the week, now I HAVE to get one, just have other mods to do first.

 

I met Barry (ZX250) last week at the Outerbanks, in North Carolina. He and his wife and their friends were every bit as nice as any people that I have met. This is certainly a great group of people here.

 

...other than that guy in Seattle !

 

BTW neal, sent you reps for all your help with the carfax reports when looking for my new truck!
