Checked the site tonight. There is a 16ft flatdeck that had a fire. Just the centre of the deck wood burnt and probally some wires underneath melted. Very fixable. I think the bids start at 1000/.
The other is a 65 Ford 1/2 that looks very good condition. They say side damge. It looks like it got hit from behind causing the box to bulge out.
Also on Kijiji tonight someone from Buffalo Narrows has a nice yellow 57-60 panel truck posted, no price.
I seen that trailer and thought about it too. Replacing the wood is no prob, and wiring is no prob, but I wonder if a fire like that could get hot enough to mess with the electric brakes?
It does not look like it would of effected the brakes, Just melted the wiring to the brakes. The heat from the fire seems to stayed in one areaand burned upwards.
I have a feeling the bids on it will be up around 2000.
A person will have to make ramps for it also. They say there are no ramps.
You know, I just sold my 18 foot car trailer for 2500 bucks, and it was a 2007 model. I did some checking around, and you can get a brand new one just like mine for 3000 bucks from a few places in PA. When i bought mine brand new it was 4 grand, but we gave the guy a cash deal of 3 grand! Now a guy could probably get one for 2500 brand new if ya threw cash at them.
I dunno if that trailer would be worth the 2 grand mark, but your right, someone probably will bid that high.
