"Artillery wheel" the big red one? not sure what you mean. I also didn't notice the pile of parts just below the tires-looks like a couple of heads from a flathead and other who the heck knows what? this guy has a ton of old steel for sale, wish I was closer to go check it all out. he's at least 4 hrs from me!

That appears to be an artillery wheel, a type of older steel wheel the Bonneville and "period correct" rodders crave. Some sell for over a grand a wheel, would make buying the truck an instant winner if it's got 4 of them, and they are the right ones.

The "right" style milk truck wheels that go for big money have a 5 on 5½" bolt pattern, those aren't them.

lots of time they used leftover parts when building fleet trucks. i looked at a 66' GM bus and it had 54' gauges.

LOL, I didn't blow up the pic, that's an 8-lug. Probably a widow-maker at that.

Ford used the '53 grille in 1953 and 1954 on the Parcel Deliveries. They used the 1955 grille on the Parcel Deliveries from 1955 up to the early 60's. But be careful! These grilles are shorter than the grilles on the conventional cabs. They look good from a distance but are several inches shorter!!
