Post 1935 V8

Saw a 1935 V8 with aluminum heads. Are these good engines? Easy to get parts for? Thank you.

Generally, no. I would only if you've got a '35 truck and want an authentic period motor for it.

They're harder to find some parts for, and they have poured babbitt bearings for mains and rods.

Easiest and cheapest flatheads to keep running are marked 8BA, 8CM, and EAB on the heads (49 to 53)
