Which island were you staying on?

 

I can remember looking at the sign but I can't remember the name on it. It was a smaller island next to a much larger one. It was relly close to another island near the shore that houses some protected bird species.

 

why do some people act like jacka**es? I haven't jogged in a couple of months, but I got the feeling to today, so when I got off work last night I changed clothes and went and ran on the riverwalk thats near my place. All was going well until some guys sitting on the rocks (from what I can tell, they had no lights out there) started yelling at me. The first time I went by it was mainly just either "run boy run" "you better run faster than that" run forest run". By the time I made it back they were still there, and continued with "run rabbit, is that all you got rabbit" "you better get outta here rabbit" and "look at that rabbit run". I know I probably shouldn't have been running at 11 o'clock at night, but I've been working later than normal, and I use to run around 9:30pm, and never had this problem. I'll probably not head down that way of the walk again, and stick to my normal route. This for some reason just ticked me off. It took me out of my zone while running and took away from my normal runners high I was looking forward to.

 

They were probably some bored idiots but running that late i would be carrying some back up if i was you.

 

a nike to the face usually shuts people up pretty quick.

 

Sounds like a bunch of punk HS or college kids running their mouth trying to intimidate you.

If you run that late on a regular basis, you may want to consider a CWP.

 

what a CWP?

most of the time carry a medium size knife in a sheath that hangs from my neck, but everything was in my truck when it got stolen. I know they were probably some young punks, but it just irritated me that they did that.

 

I think hes talking a bout a concealed weapons permit.

 

just take one of Harrys black rifles with you. Fire a couple warning shots over their heads when the punks start getting loud. 98.452% success rate - estimated.

 

More like 100% when they see it lol. CWP is Concealed Weapons Permit. In this day and age i highly recomend folks take the course.

I've been thinking about getting a Concealed Weapons Permit, but things didn't turn out how i expected them to this summer in order for me to get a pistol.

 

I went catfishing last night in Santee......rather disappointing to say the least. Stayed out until 2am on a work night to only catch 1- 10lb catfish and about a 30" gar. My buddy didnt catch a thing. Im getting very frustrated with this lake.


Is bass fishing any good on Lake Hartwell?

 

Any coonhunters on here? All I see is talk about fishing. Don't think that i'm knocking fishing. Just asking.
