i hope so.. at the time (2005) getting a brand new F150 i was so happy! I have been driving my 97 ranger for 8 years and wanted a new truck. I love the new body style! it was perfect for me to get and keep forever.. but it only lasted 2 years and we got rid of her.. i still would like to get one like it. only thing i dislicked about it was how flat the back of the seats were.. so on a long trip, bothered my lower back a bit (but then again, i have lower back issues) in the expedition, the seats curve to your back so it is much more comfortable on long trips.

I know how you feel Dallas. The wife and I have had discussions about getting rid of my '06. That truck is something I have wanted and dreamed of for years. I just don't think I could bring myself to get rid of her. Since I have the '97, I don't have to drive the '06 much. I mainly use it on the weekends. Can't just let it sit!!

i would love to have a f-250 but i just can't justify having that big of a truck as i don't have anything to pull (like a boat). i love the harley edition's like everyone else.. i thought about buying a old work truck a company in town had for sale for $6,900 and painting it and getting the decals and wheels and stuff to make a Harley edition without spending the $40k+ on one!

Well, to be perfectly honest...I really don't need an F-250 either. I'm sure an F-150 with the 5.4 would pull it just fine. My 97 has the 4.6, and while it's pretty good on gas, can barely do 55 with the boat on the back! I just feel in love with the looks of them when they came out, and have wanted one ever since.

I think you've got the right idea, to build your own Harley edition, way cheaper!

Hey, wonder where Rob is? He's leaving on vacation tomorrow. Wonder if he's taking his laptop, so we can hound him while he's in Colorado?

well, it isn't my fulltime job.. as a matter of fact.. i don't even get paid to do it..

my parents own a bar, helping them out. this weekend is usually one of the busy weekends of the year. always the holidays. and it works out for me as my friends usually are at the bar anyway.. so it is like i get to go out with them but i'm also serving up some cocktails. this Sunday night they have a street dance in town.. as long as it doesn't rain, will be a busy one!

Well, I see things are still as deep as ever in here...
Man, I thought I'd been gone for 3 days, not 3 hours!

Rumor got out that I was leaving for vacation, and then I got dumped on here! It figures.

Now it's off to a meeting for the rest of the afternoon, oh joy!

If I don't get a chance to check in later, have a great weekend guys. I may check in over the weekend, gotta make sure Pat it working hard.
