Big R, the style is a copy of the original American Racing Torq Thrust rims. he was partially right the style is an american racing design but the AR rims are all aluminum, which is where the question is coming in on these.

mistakenID yeah it does bring back the nostalgic feel which is why I chose them for this Galaxie. guess I never will grow up.

 

the best i can tell from everything ive searched says those rims should be chrome. almost every page said the steel/composite rims were chromed i believe thats what the craiger SS's are. the back is what kills it being every rim ive seen.
