Tonneau Covers

We had an Undercover on our Lightning and were quite happy with it, although it saw limited milage. Anybody else tried the Undercover? We have an 08 F-150 coming in, so I'm planning on buying the cover before it gets here.
Thanks,
Jim

I've never seen one actually help.
As long as you keep your tailgate up, you would get the same gas mileage with or without a tonneau cover.

That's very true but I like the looks of a cover plus a limited amount of security for stuff in the bed. If I were worried about gas, I wouldn't buy the 5.4 with 3.73 Limited slip and then add blower.

I've had the the Undercover on my truck for about 2 years now. It fits great, course you gotta modify your bedliner a bit for the hardware if you have one. Fit is great, looks great, its waterproof, and holding up pretty well. But here's my only beef with it. My truck is a white lariat and everytime it rains i get black streaks all down along the side's of the bed and tailgate..Im talkin like even a shower. And if you get a good long rain, forget it..black streaks you literally have to rub out after you wash it. So overall its a great top if you can take the maint, i think its pathedic..Personally id like to get rid of mine and get the Bak-Flip. It flips 3 times so you can add a recliner etc without haveing to remove the cover, fits flush with the bedcaps and supports about the same wieght as the undercover or more and i personaly think the flush look is more up to date... Hope this helps..

I have had my Undercover tonneau for about a month and love it. Installed in about 15 minutes and fits great.
