That about sums it up, i left you some "sample reputation" as i called it, you can check up on your points in your User CP, where you see all your suscribed threads, below that is your recent history of reputation.
I have found that the more reps you give......the more you get. It's just a small way of saying thanks for the help on posts. I pretty much max out my reps everyday on givin them out, they will only give you so many....then you get put on a 24hr timeout.
You start out with 1 chicklet for every 100 rep points that you receive you get another chicklets. The more chicklets that you have, when you rep some one they get more points. I always try and send a thank you to whomever reps me. I just feel that it is the right thing to do.
I'm not to sure about the negative reps though. I would imagine that they would.
I don't know. . . maybe the negativity machine called me but I'm a little confused about these reps. it seems like all the sudden reps showed up and now everybody is all about reps and getting more green squares. . . sometimes i think people are more concerned about the little green squares and perhaps even loose site of the real goal here at FTE. We're a family and I think words speak louder than little green squares. But maybe I have the wrong angle. I'm open to others thoughts.

I don't go out of my way to get rep points, but sometimes its kinda nice to check into it and see that other people appreciate you trying to help out. I give and receive a lot of them, but if I had 100 or 1,000,000 rep points I could care less. It's more about helping someone else out with a problem for me, and making sure the people who help me out know that I appreciate it.

It was that OT thread that made everyone's rep points jump. I could care less if you have less or more squares than me, but what i didnt understand was the fact that some people just gave out reps because they felt like it, or it was just the "rep time of the day". No big deal, but i'm on your side Tim.
