psd help
I have a 2007 6.0l psd with about 15,000 miles on it i have 2 problems. one is why is the steering so loose, i asked my service guy and he said there all like that, are there any upgrades i can use to tighten this up a bit, my 97f250 is super tight, and the dealer told me its the gear box? second is i just had a stage 2 intake put on and a full magna flow exhaust, the guy went to put the preaditor tuner in and he said it had a hex key errror? and he asked me if the factory program had ever been changed? i said no, he is going to call diablo on monday and he said that ford has over 5000 programs in there trucks and sometimes you get an old tuner...is this true, should i believe him or try somebody else. thanks

1. Steering should be tight. They are not loose from the factory.
2. Most folks here will say you are wasting your money on an intake system.
3. Most folks here do not recommend the Predator. Very few folks here run them.
4. There are a lot of variations in the Ford factory tuning depending on date and your specific vehicle configuration.
Not really a wobble, more like a little more play in the wheel than im used to considering being use to a rack in pinion. The preaditor install was done yesterday, and im extremely impressed witht the power. Seems the original problem was they forgot to load the program into the preaitor before shipping. Anyways the intake, exhaust and tuner seems to be running fine with no engine light issues. I did install a exhaust temp gauge as well for piece of mind so the head bolys dont snap..lol. you said you dont reccomend the preaditor..Why?? i have heard alot of issues with banks and some of the otheres so i just went with them, is this a bad chioce. Im not a weekend racer, just wanted the extra 100hp for towing and getting there a little quicker. Its a company landscape truck so its used for buisness. I did notice my fuel econmy jump from 15.5 on the highway to 19.2 at 65mph. that in it self should pay for it in a few months. any other reccomendations from u guys?
thanks
As far as the Predator goes, here are a few opinions:

Also - EGT's aren't going to warn you against the head bolts stretching.
