I've never heard of anyone doing it - lots of "I'm going to..." quite a few years back, but I don't think anyone ever messed with success

Opening the intake ports would lose low-end power without cam timing changes (usually), and opening the exhaust, I'm not sure there was anything to gain there, either.

On the other hand, "PI" heads for the 4.6 and 5.4 can be opened up, so the "PI" heads on a V10 should be too. Should be.

There has been very few times when anyone has dug into a V10 and taken pictures, and that's only on one '99 that I know about. Might be hidden in someone's gallery, though.

I'd love to see what potential there is.

Here's some pics of a '99:

from what I can see so far on the tear down theres some cleaning up, smoothing out to do. Also some positive scratchs to add as well in some areas. taking out some metal on the right side of the curve giving it a greater bowl shape will yeild more TQ it most cases

personnaly I'd swap out the cams for ones that are some what more aggresive and higher lift, some more timiming on the exhaust valve and add an electric fan

thanks for checking anyways makes me think how valuable it would be to take pics of my tear down now(going out to buy a camera)

Even dropping it in a major sreach engine doesn't reveal too many results for the ford v-10

Ah HAH! Now I get it ...

Um, not much chance of getting your current one changed, but I might have some luck with the password.

Is your email address still the same as when you registered that account?

It won't help to hit the "forgot password" link, that's for sure.

I'll see what can be done tomorrow.
