Anyone rebuild alternators?

<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1> <!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --><TABLE width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>The bearings in the alternator of my 94 F-150 5.0 are on their way out. I've gotten the pulley and the front housing off but I can't seem to get the shaft/rotor out so I can get to the bearing that needs replacing. I've also taken the voltage regulator out and replaced the brush block in it. It works fine except for the bearing roar, so I think I'll leave everything else like it is. But are there any other things I need to check?

Thanks for any help
