Hey Chris,
well,,,we talked to the guys about a piston. They said they would call us back with a price on 1 custom piston or make us a good deal on a set of 8.
So will see.
Sent the heads back,
and after they get a good look at them and see what went wrong,,they'll give us a call
So it just a big waiting game for now....lol

Morning all. Had some rain here this morning. Overcast with the sun peaking out now and again.

So am I correct to assume that a valve hit a piston. If it was a defective head is the builder going to help with repair costs? Hope you get it done before the snow flies again.

Afternoon everyone. Just about to start getting ready to do the work thing.

Hey guys, been back from my trip since Monday, just haven't been online. Looks like I'm moving to Penticton. Gonna go check out some rentals next weekend.

Penticton isn't too bad of a place. Nice warm weather this time of year. Get something on the lake so we can

The best we can tell,,,a spring broke and dropped the valve in the cylinder.
We found the flat part of the valve in the cylinder on top of the piston.
The long part ( whatever its called ) part of the valve,,,,we found in the header...lol..

Now,,,the spring came from Comp Cams.
The guy that did the heads,,,said that Comp had a problem with springs in the past and covered all the damages,,,completely.

So,,at this point,,,all I can do is hope that someone helps me with the coast of the repair.
