I like the sound of both factory cats with no muffler. It's pretty quiet crusing but has a nice tone when accelerating. And best of all, it's free if you have factory exhaust.

I really like how this one sounds at lower RPM, a bit ricey when it winds up though

Ok sorry for the sound quality camera kinda sucks. Stock manifold, no cat, flowmaster 40 series. Curb idle vid (i.e. in drive)

This isn't from a truck, but I found an awesome sound from a 200cid six, split header, no X or H pipe, with flowmasters. Now granted this is on the small block Falcon six, but after hearing this sound, I'm excited to say I think I want a 250cid six in my Torino. Those of you with Rancheros, Falcons, Fairlanes, whatever, take note. These split headers really make a difference. I bet a 240/300 with the same exhaust mods would sound similar.

Hi everyone,
Just picked up another Bronco with a 300 I6 for $600 for my wife.
Removed the feedback ignition and did a Duraspark II conversion on it.

Has an unfinished exhaust on it (got it that way), and has Hooker Headers on it with a 600 CFM Holley 4bbl carburetor on an Offenhauser C intake.

This is mine. It's got an Edelbrock 500, Offy C, GM 292 rockers, Oregon Cam Grinding #1268(274* adv and 224* at .050" with .518 lift), Hedman heddder, 2 glass packs with 1.75" pipes out to the rear bumper. I got the pipes for free, and had a hard time welding em up with my Lincoln buzz box, so they leak a little here & there.

I can't edit my old post back in 2008, so I'll just add it here again.YouTube - video 79 bronco.mpg

Maybe one of these days, with a newer camera now, I can post a longer sound clip.

flowmaster 40 series single in single out and Stock cats. Its deeper in real life and the popping isn't as drastic.

YouTube - 89 ford f150 flowmaster

YouTube - tunt89's Channel click on the url and it will come up to another video. Not sure why it did show up

I want something a little more deeper and just a little louder. Would dueled supper 44 series with the same tip do it?
