Front cab corner patches for '48-'52?
I did several searches, couldn't find anything...
Does anyone made the front cab corner patches? If not, did you have to make your own? Any pointers?
Mine are worse than I thought, some bondo in there, and I'm not going to leave it there.
Thanks in advance!!

I have a donor cab I'm going to cut the drivers side out of and patch on to my 51 (well I'm going to attempt it) mine is dented pretty bad in the front corner and I think cutting the old out and putting the new in will be the easiest, & best way to fix it.
I could cut out the pasenger side if your interseted?

Roger,
like every other patch, I made my own. If the area you're referring to is the area just in front of the door, before it meets the firwall it's the easiest to patch to make because no one will see it once the fender is on, or at least very little of it. A while back a member of the board patched this area and was real proud of his achievement because he spent a lot of time on it and did it so nice you couldn't tell he ever patched it. He posted later that once he got the fender on you couln't see the patch and he used time on it that he could have used on another part of his truck.
If you have more extensive damage I still would make my own. Have you tried Northern Classics, www.northernclassictrucks.com/cab.htm ? They have the from frame mounts, the area described above, door post and floor panels.
