what is the best sealed battery

I am getting ready to buy a new battery. What are your recomendations for the best sealed or jell battery available. I will located it in the original location under the floor. However, I did not want to use the original access door so I welded it shut. I am hooking up trickle charge plug for storage so I don't expect to be doing any maintenance. I built the holder so I can replace the battery. However, I want the longest lasting and mainteance free battery available. For a reasonable price.

I have had an Optima in my truck for a couple of years now and have found that it refuses to take a quick charge using 10 amp charger. I have tried two different chargers and both shut off after less than a min. and the battery is still dead!. It will take a two amp trickle charge for several hours, until fully charged. Sorry, I don't mean to hi-jack the thread but do they require a different kind of charger?

I have a Exide Orbital in mine. I had one that I did not use for two years and only sparingly the two years before that. It finally didn't want to hold a charge. They have a two year free replacement & seven year warranty prorated and they replaced it for 50% of new. I am using the new one regularly now with no problems. I have it behind the seat.
