I got my 3" downpipe in today! 203* thermostat as well. Haven't had a chance to take a run yet and see the difference, but maybe tomorrow. Oh yeah, I got all 4 ball joints put in this morning at a local garage. Front tires too. Come to think of it, it was a big day for the ol' PSD!
What ball joints did you go with and what was the cost? You can PM me if you dont want to throw the numbers around. I am going with MOOG greaseable ones. I heard TRW were very good as well. Just was curious to compare because mine are being done on Thursday.
Good stuff!
Hope your weather is alot better than ours, right now it`s snowing off and on like crazy and fair cold out, minus 7 with a windchill of minus 17! Laast nite it rained and froze the hiways, travel wasn`t recomended in some areas.

I need to replace my front passenger lower ball joint. I was quoted $1000 for all 4.... I think I'll do it myself and save a bunch of cash. Lowers are easy, uppers are a bit harder.
better have a torch or the proper presses there Secret! i've done them on my '96 before and there was no was to do it without heat or the proper presse!!
I believe they were Dana ball joints. Can't go wrong with moog. I was quoted $220 for all 4, but when I went to pick them up, it was $170 including taxes. (at NAPA) Not complaining. As for the install That was $230 for all 4.
Thanks guys, I'm sure enjoying the extra jam! Now hopefully I can keep her out of the rhubarb!!!!
Not yet. I got the transfer case in and had the driveshaft shortened, but then I decided to wait until I could get a DANA 60 instead of the 50 that I've got. It'd need a whole bunch of repairs anyway, so I'll just wait. Always looking though. I actually found one, but it comes with truck (blown engine) I'm going to see about getting it this summer after my big paycheques come in in July. The dream is NOT dead!
Right on, I kinda figured you wouldnt let that one go
Ya know if you get a parts truck that has some decent parts on it, you can always resell them to recoup some of your costs, like if it has a really good box I know a buyer lol.
