Just had Ford due the CPS recall. I was low on fuel and right before I got to the diesel hut my truck stalled and regained itself. I was thinking it might have been due to the empty tank. It seemed like my truck started better/faster and ran quieter. I have not had a chance to run it since I filled the tank.

 

how low on fuel? could have picked up some air or garbage if to low

Let's just say the thought of pushing was making me nervous.

 

Although it probably is just a low fuel issue, you are about the third person just recently that started having problems right after installing the new CPS. Could this be a look of things to come?

 

I sure hope not because I was only about 2 miles from the Ford dealer when it started.

 

Give it a chance with the full tank. It could run a little rough until the air gets out. Let us know what you find.
