My '08 had this problem also. I was pleased to find that the dealership was aware of the problem (a TSB), but it's sad also to know that this problem has existed for quite some time and Ford didn't resolve the issue at the factory.

Mine was popped up when I bought it. I popped it into place, and it hasn't come up in a year. I've only got 8000 miles on it though.

Anyone know what the part numbers are for these pieces and where you can buy them online? I took mine in for the TSB on it and the replaced the piece well all the new stuff was jammed so tight it would squeak on the window which it never did before and a day or two later of squeaking it popped up so today it started squeaking even worse and i went out and pounded it back down and a huge chunk broke off on the drivers side and passenger side since its -10 outside. I just hate how you take something in to get it fixed and its ends up being worse than before. and now from me trying to get it back down i need two new pieces that i am sure they wont warranty.

No drill repair

Put together two zip ties and pulled the front two pieces together from the front clips. Can't even tell with the hood down
