Rear oil sump dipstick to front oil sump dipstick

I just bought a 78 f150 that is lifted 7 inches and when i got the truck there was no dipstick tube so i looked under the motor and someone had put a front sump oil pan on the truck. So i pulled a front dipstick tube that came from one of my 400's that came from a 2wd truck and looked for the hole on my new truck and it looks like the hole isn't drilled out or there is a plug in it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the dipstick tube in the motor so i know how much oil is in it.

It is plugged. It's in the front of the motor on the passenger side in the block in front of the head. You will need to buy a dipstick and tube, and it's different than a 351C.

It looks like a allen wrench will do it to the block in my garage.
