Crusie and airbag light issue

I have a 1998 f-150, i recently had to get the steering box replaced and now since I got it back the cruise does not work and the air bag light is on. There were no problems with either before i had to get this replaced. Any ideas on what it is. I have already tried fuses and its a no go.

Cruise could be a brake sensor, make sure the harness is plugged in on the master cylinder. I don't know about the airbag light, that is going to be controlled by the GEM and they aren't easy to read. You might try pulling the codes, it's possible you could get a Bxxx code for the air bag.

It would certainly help if this thread were in an appropriate forum.....

This one is for chips and tuners....
