This is me...
I have a 1997 F-250 HD, with 465,272 mi. BEST truck I ever saw. If you knew what she has been through in the last year you would call me a liar.
I use it to transport RVs to the tune of about 180k a year. Love my Powerstroke!!!
I have replaced the water pump, altenator, vacumm pump, injector "O" rings, head gaskets.
Upgraded the rear springs to 5 leaf and 2" lift. Upgraded transmission to a 2000 4R100... even though I was told it can't be done. It CAN and the parts in side are steel not aluminium. and the mods were pretty easy.
Been lurking here for a while and some tips have been very useful... thanks all.
Installed a 2000 7.3l PSD in my 97 with electric fuel pump set up but have to get the reg yet.
Currently working on rebuilding the 2 7.3l PSD I have in my garage.
