351w efi to carb

i have a 92 351w pertty much stock. the truck it was it was totaled and i keept the salvage. the motor is in excelent shape and i want to transplant it into my 69 f100 with a 360. is there an intake and points distrubitor made that i can put on it. i don't want to hook up the competer and all that other mess. will an intake off a carburated 351w work on it? i.e. something from the junkyard.
thanks for the help.

Yeah, you can go with an all-carbed setup, and it is easy, and relatively cheap, and you'll gain top-end performance. I recommend aftermarket parts, I don't like to forage through junkyards for performance items, it just doesn't seem right to depend on Ford parts that were inferior when brand new, now they've had x amount of service, and they're even worse now. So go with a Weiand Stealth intake, or even the Action-Plus, I have the Action-Plus on my 302, and it rocks hard, and looks better than the Edelbrock. Go with an Edelbrock 600 carb, P/N 1406, and top it off with a K&N in your favorite 14" dish. I would definately step up to an aftermarket distributor, just so that you can adjust it, I'm having fits with my stock distributor trying to keep up with my aftermarket poster child 302, it just can't do it. Go with a Mallory Unilite, or an MSD, but get one with a vacuum advance, and triggered magnetically. Which leads me to the next bolt-on you need, and MSD 6A box w/Blaster II Coil. This way you will get awesome milage, import-slaying performance, and legendary dependability, far beyond what Ford would ever want you to have. You have a great truck for a great engine, don't cut any corners with parts. If you really want to step it up, and make around 450 ft*lbs below 4000RPM, let me know, and I'll tell you which heads and cam you need, I have Dyno 2000, which helps me pick out the best parts combos.

You will have to swap the front timing cover if you want to run a stock mechanical fuel pump. And if you want to convert to conventional v-belts(if it has serpentine now), you need to change the water pump since it turns the opposite rotation. Don't worry, it will all fit, even a 2bbl set-up from the junkyard will fit, you just have to get the right combination of parts. I guess you could run an aftermarket fuel pump for a carb if you didn't want to mess with changing the timing cover. I would make sure you use the original flywheel or flexplate that came with the engine, or one for that year. I haven't heard of them changing the balance on the 351w's like they did on the 302's, but better safe than sorry.
