I had been running around with a big 3 or 4 inch gap between the top of the front bumper and the bottom of the grill since I swapped out the nose from a '90 to a '95. Moved it up 3" and out 3", now it has the same gap as when it had the '90 front end. The pictures don't show it, but you can see the blue cooler hoses for the oil, trans and power steering, and it looked pretty bad. Now they are hidden behind the bumper. Skid plate is next on the agenda.
Here is before:
And here is after along with a pic of the rear bumper.
The camo tan paint is sort of a cheap interim paint job while I'm still working on things.
Yeah, that was sort of the idea too, Desert Storm and all. A friend of mine thinks I should keep it this way, 'cause it looks kind of bad ***. I like the fact that it takes 30 seconds to fix a scratch.

and you never have to wax it! just like mine. exterior roll on paint.
You're right and yet another reason for keeping the Camo Flat spray can paint job. I was thinking of adding some brown and green to do a real Army/Marine desert camo scheme. What do you think?
Nailed down the hard start problem. Guess the battery wasn't quite cranking it fast enough. Threw in the Autocraft Platinum from my other truck, and cra-VROOOM.
Since then, I've been leaving little clouds of clutch dust everywhere, moving wagons of hay around so I don't have to unhook the tractor from the baler.
351W in a 93 F250 4x4. Installed an MSD Blaster Coil, MSD Super Conductor Wires, HEI Distributor Cap/Rotor and Autolite Double Platinum Plugs. Already have a little more power. Hoping to get some better MPGs.
Beefing up the grill guard - it's a Westin unit that normally hooks to the bumper, only mine didn't come with the brackets so I had to get creative, upper bolts go through the bumper, lower bolts attach to a piece of 1/4" angle iron mounted across the frame rails behind and under the bumper, and now there is a 2"x2"x1/4" square tube welded to the bottom of the brush guard that will protect the radiator support and the front wheels. It's getting more reinforcements tomorrow, I wanna be able to go knock trees down and shoot deer 100 foot ahead when I hit them
