Then, I reinstalled the door panels with all new retainer push-pins and now the doors feel solid.

If your window scrapers are cracked and hardened like mine were, I totally recommend the kit off of Rockauto.

Thank you for the Rockauto tip. Just rebuilt both window motors, lubed power lock components and cleaned up the panel mounts on GF's truck and we were preparing to drop some coin on scrapers from either LMC or NPD. Come to think of it, most of the replacement parts on her 87 F150 came from Rockauto over the years...never thought to look for the scrapers there as well....

Also I have used Fairchild weatherstrip/sweep parts before on other vehicles and was never let down on the quality. Not Concours d' Elegance material, but seriously, everything I own/build I drive daily and the Fairchild parts work

Woo hoo finally fixed the rear passenger power window motor on my crewcab. Lubed everything up real good, and fixed the sticky door lock. The power window motor was cake, but I did do it the easy way. Anybody that needs to tackle this job and has questions let me know.

I also pulled both rear wheels off to polish them. I was going to leave the center caps out they looked like chit the a/r emblem was faded and cracked and like most center caps have the typical marks from the tire shops using deep thick wall sockets. Fortunately the cleaned up nice enough to put back in for now. I never liked seeing the rear axles sticking out of the wheels.

Drove it some 200+ miles, 100 dry and 100 while copiously raining, the truck fared quite well, but I have to address some braking side-bias issues.

Saturday crawled under the truck and tightened everything up on the truck. Found out why I was getting death wobbles only on the passenger side. The sleeve for the tie rod was slightly lose on the inner tie road and was only noticeable when I grabbed it and moved it from front to back. Tightening everything up fixed most of the creeking and small noises. Steering feels solid now.

New FPR, swapped the 33x12.5 Duratracs for some 31x10.5 Duratracs, Washed it and filled both tanks with fuel and a can of B12 chemtool in each. Tomorrow I am going to bring the tire pressure up to 45 psi.

I used to run 50psi in my LT tires for best mileage. Sucked in town or off road but was fine on highway, and that's where I do most of my driving. Just keep an eye on the center of the tires, higher pressures can wear them out fast. I'm really interested to see if you're mileage comes back.

I am as well. We will know over the course of the week. The tires are at 30 psi right now from the tire shop so I think they can come up a bit.

Evan, why did you change the tires? is it because of the MPG issues?.

Yesterday picked some parts up for 3 of them:
$10 on a windshield with a small chip (going in the 91 F250) included the trim (going on my 88 F150) and the rear view mirror.
Coil spring rubber spacers that will give the front of my 88 F150 a 1inch front lift $4
and the main reason I went:
rear fuel tank with filler hose, skid plate, breather, and fuel pump (not sure if it is any good but I have a brand new one already in the truck) going in the 89 F250 for $20

Even though it was $40 in gas because I took the 02 F250 V10 as it has the truck box plus it was a good 40-50 mile trip one way I figured it was worth it for all of that at that price.
