Can't wait to see a picture of it! Where'd you get it? I'e been thinking of getting one myself. I think they look cool, are functional, and are a good place for bed lights.

Upkeep

Back on my feet and back trying to repair the old Ford. Its a 1996 F250. Got a real serious issue with the starter going to post a question in main forum. Repalce alternator again quit charging. Was finnaly getting around to repairing A.C. compressor. The clutch had went bad and it was reallly raiseing hell under the hood. I ussally just get a belt for a truck that has no AC and install that on it and forget about AC. But since I am little bit older I have began liking the AC more. I found in this truck that when you turn on various positions of the climate control panel that the AC conpreessors turn on. Don't drive the truck much any more a few errands around townand a little hunting jogs. Very little can't afford the fuel bill. At 9 miles to a gallon it eat fuel.

Looks good. I'd like to get one, but don't know exactly what I want. I like the tube chrome ones a lot, but there's no where to mount lights. Any ideas on a good one that I could mounts some bed/work lights on to see at night?

Jaime much much better looking. which truck box do you have on your truck?
Collin JC whitney has a stainless steel tubular one that you can get a light bar that hold 6 lights on. I want one of them on my truck. It is by go industries later I can get the link for it if you want.

That's the exact one I have on mine, you'll be happy with it. I've put a good load of lumber on mine, and it holds it just fine. It's a really sturdy rack.

I've been thinking about adding some brake lights in the top corners of mine, and maybe some bed lights, I just need to decide how I'm going to wire it.

the one I have for my truck is like the one but instead of mesh middle it is louvered steel. I like it a bit better but I am going to change it to a tubular louvered kind.
I got mine for free just needs some paint I have some pics of it on one of our other trucks.

Edit: here you go Collin here is the rack I was talking about and the light bar. It is a little high but I guess you have to pay to play. Also the bed bars aren't part of the rack. top link is the rack itself and the bottom is the light bar.

Thanks Trav. Boy that's an expensive one. The others I was looking at we're in the $220-$280 range. I'll look around online and see what I can find. Will probably be a while since I'll still be feeling the pain of the engine rebuild bill for a while.
