I have a detailed project thread in the Australian Ford Forums which should give you a fairly good idea on what you are getting yourself in for!!
Here is a link!
You will have to become a member to browse the project section, but you will find a small but growing f series comunity there!
Also gives you a chance to check out some of our Aussie fords too!
Dont forget to stop by in the F series and bronco section of the forum and say Gday!

a friend of mine helped me out by letting me into the auto shop he works at after hours and changed my tires from the jeep rims to the ford rims, and balance them. While the truck was up on the lift I decided to change the steering damper, and all I have to say is IT IS SO NICE TO STAND AND WORK ON THE UNDERSIDE OF MY TRUCK!

The 33" tires I took off the truck where so worn down that they are about the same diameter as the newer 31" tiers I put on it.

while driving to the bank for cleaning (my night job) and then back home I am so impressed with how much a new steering damper improved the handling of the truck! The one that came off it was doing **** all, and the mountings where all lose, I still need to tighten the steering box a little, but its much less of a need to do at this point.

I still need to install the E break cable, but I am feeling much better about where things are with the truck now.

The starter went out my my 300 last week, for some reason my paycheck didn't get deposited so I can't afford a new one ($65 for 1 w/ lifetime warrenty)
I had the diesel running today and we moved a few things around in preparation for the snow storm that's about to hit. It started snowin about an hour ago.

No school tomorrow *crosses fingers* the wind is supposed to pick up and the snow is powdery so it should drift quite a bit.
