Well the last couple days have been Rad support removal for replacement. Also removed the fenders and inner wells, So I could get off the cracked manifolds.
Just about all removed. Have a new set of manifolds, and a new Y-pipe with cats and new O2 sensors to install.

Thinking I should maybe do the shocks while she's wide open. Springs look fine but a little rusty. Should I pull them and clean them as well?

Everything need a good cleaning while I'm in there as well

Man i'd love to convert my F350 to quadracoil and a 4 link. At least up front, to retain some of the tow-ability in the rear.

Went back to stock pizza cutters. I definitely like the stock width, could probably go for more height next time around. No more death shake at 62-65 mph. Overall, the ride is much smoother and quieter, which is not a surprise.

Old tires with pitted chrome wheels. BFG 33x12.5r16.5

New white steel wheels. 235/85R16

Less redneck, more overland style. Now to find a canvas shell for camping

Been away for a bit but I added coolant, trans temp and oil pressure gauges above the mirror, replaced a broken interior door handle and cable, then did bedliner on my rocker panels. I also finished my bumper and washed it.

I've done next to nothing other than drive it picking up parts for my Durango with the 5.9... What a pain that thing is to work on!

Looks good. I've always been a fan of narrow tires unless you need them for flotation. Heck, my old S-Blazer I ran 33-9.50s on and never had a problem going anywhere.
I think my next set of tires will be 235/85-16s for my 150

Bolted the window motor back on the door since two bolts rattled loose and were sitting inside the bottom of the door along with the window itself. Thankfully it dropped now and not in a couple weeks when it'll be way wetter and colder.

Then I finally got around to finishing the CB install. Now I want to put in the PA speaker but I'm not sure where is the best location for sound and that wont have the wire sitting on top of hot components. Any ideas?

Today I started working on several of the maintenance projects and upgrades for my new to me ‘95 F150. Replaced the busted dome lamp, had a buddy help me replace the drivers door hinge pins and bushings, and then upgraded my basic instrument panel to the factory tach panel. That wasn’t as challenging as I imagined! And I really like the look and added functionality of having the tach.

Tomorrow I hope/plan to do an oil change and a few other odds and ends if time and weather permit.

A few pics of the instrument panel upgrade:

put my cb radio in my 2017. Hmm, that magnetic mount won't stick to anything. Put a steel plate on the toolbox to solve the problem.

Pretty much... you’ll need to disassemble both instrument panels so you can install your own speedometer into the tach cluster (if you want to maintain your correct mileage. Other than that, yeah. Everything fits and connects no issue. Wiring is the same regardless.

Steve, does this mean that there was a connector existing for the tach that was just not plugged in to anything or did you have to do additional wiring for a tach?
