Over the last week she's gotten a new water pump, master cylinder, TPS and a Galaxy DX949 CB.

I took off the camper for awhile,

And I'm seriously thinking about doing something like this.

I cut a giant hole in the side of the bed and started welding in patch repair panels. Ground down some surface rust spots and sprayed them with rust converter. The truck also got some much needed tune up parts (distributer cap, rotor, coil, plug wires, plugs).

I love it! The cabin in the bed looks sweet! They had something like this on an episode of top gear in the bed of a dodge.

I love walking up on my f350 in a parking lot. Most of the time, it is far and away the coolest vehicle in sight.

Had the seat springs repaired and the seat recovered. Driving home it felt like I put on a 6" lift. Didn't realize how much of a hole I was sitting in.

Do you have any pics? Did you have the entire seat recovered? I'm wanting to have mine recovered too. My seats are bucket seats with the fold-up console.

Where are you located? Is this rain from Harvey? We will have rain tonight and tomorrow here, near Hemphill Texas.

Not Harvey, another tropical storm on the east coast. We're in southern NJ, by the beach.

I finally got around to pulling the front drive shaft off. I'm going to order up a replacement one before Winter sets in. The way the weather has been this year, I worry about the snowfall coming.

Now the only possibility for the vibration I'm experiencing would have to be the tires. I'm running recaps at the moment, and will have to use balancing beads instead of all the lead they put on the rim. Hopefully that handles the problem. It's fine if I'm on city streets or state routes, but once I hit 55, the vibration is a bit bothersome.

Gave my truck an endoscopy in cylinder #1 today. Some definite carbon buildup, time for an MMO soak.

Wouldn't those beads only work if the imbalance(s) is/are low spots? If they're high spots, doesn't seem like it would work.
