That's about the size of it. With working at least 50 hours a week plus going to school part time and getting ready to enter the military I'm growing increasingly short on time and money that I can spend. I bought the truck because it was cheap but it turns out to be all but lol. I have done th numbers and to get it to where everything is fully functional and works exactly how it should is going to take about 10 grand (including what I have in it already) and for that much I could buy a much nicer truck of the same generation or a newer truck.

Yea, well when you paint new fenders, the rest of the truck looks off. I'm having a debate in my head about painting the whole thing. But I really want an air-ride kit for the mustang. So it's a having time to do it. Have a small window in December.
I think if I can eliminate rust and it's solid, I'll be happy for now.

Changed the oil and rotated the tires.

Rotating the tires meant adjusting front/rear air pressure, and cleaning each tire, rim, and center cap while the wheel was off. Ended up being a 4 hour tire rotation

Must be that kinda day, because that's what I did (Minus the wheel cleaning).

Rotated the tires, in an X formation. RF to LR, and FL, to RR. next roation is a simple back to front/front to back.

Changed my rotor, distributor cap and plugs in an effort to solve a missing issue. I put 100 or so Kms on and it looks like the miss is gone :-)

Picked up all the pieces I need to space out the oil sender and to adapt my new one on. Now I just need the gauges to arrive. Should be here Friday. Other than that I have just been driving it. Happy to report both tanks function just fine now. Will be doing some maintenance items and small additions in the coming weeks to prep it for an off-road camping trip in early September.

Interested in why you go that way. I do the classic rears forward and fronts crossed to rears. I've often thought about alternating between a front/rear swap and a left/right swap so that I didn't have to pull my center caps as often, but I'm worried that I won't remember which rotation I did last time

It's easy to remember if you keep a certain sequence.

Fronts to Rears/Vice Versa on one oil change, and then the X formation like I explained on the next oil change, and then on the next one, just go with fronts to rears again.

As for what I did today, I removed the Wheel Arch Trim (J-U-N-K) and the section of fiberglass hood off it.

I think I'll stick with my method, it requires no memory at all

Only thing I did with mine today was use it to haul some super duty wheels & tires that i felt compelled to buy from craigslist. Still not sure what I'm going to do with them

Don't know if anybody in this part cares but commited a ford sin. Traded the 97 expedition in for a 04 GMC envoy 4x4 5.3L top of the line.
Hope the ford gods don't come down on me now that I have 2 GMs in the yard. LOL

Ya but you probably didn't trade a Ford in on it. I am going to miss the expedition but hey since my mom is happy that's all that matters. (now just to make sure she still wants the truck my buddy has for $200).
