Welded the tabs back on the brush guard for my 88 F150.

Added a trailer light flat 4 on the 89 F250.

Not today, but last Friday. Installed new rotors, bearings and brakes. Then Saturday, I took it to go see some friends that were camping. Got 13.93 mpg for the round trip. Not bad for a 460 crewcab.

I went to our local Pick 'n pull and scored a dual electric fan setup from a Ford Windstar Van for my electric fan conversion. I also picked up a spare tire holder from a full size Bronco. I've been looking for one for almost two years. Happy, Happy, Happy

I sold mine.

It was a 1994 ext cab 4x4 with a 5.8 and auto transmission.

There is a replacement being scouted that is in Alberta near Edmonton. That truck is a 1995 ext cab 4x4 with the 5.0 and has a standard transmission.

That is the set up that I have been wanting and hopefully he will email me back with some answers that move this deal in the right direction.

..... I was actually wondering if the owner wasn't a member here - white '95 with a bit of work done to it.

Yesterday took the steering wheel off since it had the notorious bearing problem. Made a teflon plug to replace rhe shot small upper bearing. Took it all apart and replaced the bearing with the teflon plug. Got it it all installed and realised the large bearing was shot too. But the teflon plug works awesomely and reduced 95 percent of the play in the steering wheel. And it moves just as smooth as stock. When I get time I will replace the large bearing. But all in due time

do your own oil cooler it only takes 5 days

Oil cooler on the grass, bottle jack, jackstand, Rain, storms, more rain, fairly easy popping off the cooler and resealing it, popped back together, xcept it don't fit in assembled, so motor mount gets removed, to reinstall mount I cut the two studs 1/2 so it could slide back in, I'd say 4 hours labor 5 days truck down

My Redhead steering box came today. Damn that was some fast shipping!

I'm hoping to get it put on tomorrow. I really hope it's the gearbox and not some bushing, $260+ is a steep price to pay for being wrong. My current one has 300k miles on it (just hit 300K officially last Sunday, even got a picture at the perfect moment ), so I'm 95% sure it's the issue.

I'm excited, it'll be nice to have a firm steering wheel and not some old sailboat wheel. The steering is the only thing that shows its mileage, once that's fixed it should feel like a brand new truck

I didn't do anything to my truck today because I don't own it yet, but I did exchange emails with the owner and it looks like I will be heading out to look at it as soon as I can get the time. The drive will take approximately 13 hours one-way.

Burns a little oil, but a rebuild or engine swap will take care of that.

This series of trucks is where it's at for me and I may even sell my 2013 once the '95 is all checked out and ready for use.

My dream truck is almost in my possession!

picked up all the parts from autozone. Pulled the old pump and install the new one with the pressure line all in under 45 minutes. Not bad for my first time ever doing that

Filled it up this mornin on my way to work. Then was reminded that the PPD (Purple Panty Dropper) still has some nuts!

Whilst driving to work Mother Nature decided to have a torrential down pore on me, which ended out all right cause I got a free wash out of it... But anyway then on my way to work right after I got off the interstate and stop and a red light waiting to turn after the next car that goes by which ironically turns out to be one of my buddy coworkers so I get into it a little bit to catch him (mind you it just got done down pouring) and right at that instant I was reminded of how much power the ol girl still had by pitching it sidways on the highway.. It all turned out good after i straightened it out and got to work with a little bit of joy...

Thennnnnn on my way home from work i had just gotten off the interstate (Running 70 mph) headed home and then all of a sudden I meet a cop and look down and I see I'm goin 68 mph in a 55, which was later verified by his radar gun... Se he ended up pulling me over for speeding and ask me for all my paper work so I hand him all of it except my proof if insurance because I couldn't find it... So he goes back to his cruiser for 15 minutes or so and comes back and said since I had a clean record that he was just goin to give me a written warning for te speeding and the failure to have insurance!!! He also didn't say a word about my 5% window tint which was on my windshield brow, wing windows, back window, and side windows (which were down at this point )!! THANK YOU MR. OFFICER!!
