Shopped around for tires. Next weekend (assuming it's out of the body shop) it'll get some new shoes. 31x1050 Cooper STT's.

Replaced my non-working tach with one from a JY cluster.

Replaced my split gearshift housing.

Put new screws in my door panels to keep them from flopping.

Well since my front tank's pump doesn't work and I really dont wanna dig into it to replace it until the weather warms up and I wanted the gas (liquid gold) I emptied the gas out of it the redneck way. I made a pointed punch out of brass so it wont spark on steel and punched a tiny hole in the bottom of the tank and emptied it. I then made a plug out of a small screw and rubber washer to seal it up.

Note: Do not use a power drill or a punch made out of something that can spark when you hammer it in if you do this...

Anyways... Tomorrow she gets detailed and might drive her an hour and a half up to the nearest pick a part to look for some good stuff for her.

I will be looking for all kinds of things at the pick a part: need tires(mine are gettin bald), f250 front springs and rear leafs, maybe a junk yard lift kit, after market lights, cool interior things, CB antenna etc...

Okay this was actually yesterday. Went out & popped the hood on Ursula ( my latest acquisition & not staying ). Right off this nice shiny tip sticking up on the ( looks ) new distributor cap catches my eye. Started looking around & not only is there no wire, turns out there's no plug either . Pulled the dipstick, my niece was telling me it was making a " clattering " when she brought it up here. She said she had topped off the oil & coolant before leaving. Checked to see what it said, full but black. She said she thought her husband had just changed it a few hundred miles ago. Don't think so. Guess I'll get a set of plugs & wires. Change the oil & filter after I flush it & see what happens then. Need to check the air filter too I guess. She gave me a new fuel filter laying in there with it. Don't think Ursula was babied or treated with TLC during her life with my niece. Guess I'll try to nurse her back to a little better health before I sell her. Didn't hear anything I'd call a " clattering ", just the missing plug pumping out that hole in the head. Looks like I've got a project for when the weather gets warm.

Took her in to have the rear tires balanced, only to find out that one rim is warped, which is causing the vibration at 50 mph.

It's going to be tough to find a replacement...probably easier to find 4 matching steelies than it will to locate another aluminum one like these.

Did some rewiring, converted the factory high-beams foot switch to a panic light switch - it now triggers both my bumper lights and the overheads, that's over 600W of instant blinding light that can be unleashed in just a second if needed. Also bolted down my new in-bed tool box, six 1/4" bolts ought to hold it in place rather nice - then moved everything that I had under and behind the seat in the cab to the new box, it's amazing how much stuff can fit inside, and for $100 (half-off at AZ) one really can't go wrong with it!

The junkyard here, after several months of waiting, finally got me in a stock airbox and tubes. Now I can finally replace the junk the PO put in.

Which aluminium rims do you have?

I think they might be, but only if you use them on a road.
