Just picked up my first flathead (pics)

Flathead v8 that is, I almost forgot about my 1945 ford jeep with the flat 4!

good luck with her. It looks nice and clean from the outside, that rod appears to be your fuel pump pushrod, very common for them to wear smaller and fall out.

Keep up the progress abd reporting any Q's can be answered in this forum good bunch of guys here.

ya going to the 48-60 all the time keeps people out of here and it gets boooring for the rest of us who like to talk flathead

yes, I realized after it did that post, so thats why I posted the link here as well, I figured I might catch it from someone over here! it was deserved.

I will try to post the flathead stuff over here, all I have to do now is sound like I know what I'm talking about. lol I just got the "Frank Oddo Flathead book" yesterday, I started reading it this morning and was almost late to work! lots to learn before I start to get any further into it.
