Vancouver is a great place. I've lived there long enough though. I only go back to visit my mom. If I had to move to the interior, I'd pick Kamloops or Kelowna.

If I was to move to a big city and I had a choice it would be Vancouver. Kamloops isn't bad either.

Highboy where on Van Isle are you, and why the hell do you want to leave.

If my mom hadn't gotten sick I would have moved back.

Last place I lived was Victoria, I had a 28' 1951 Monk Classic that I lived on; On the gorge, just above the Galloping Goose bridge... But at one time or another I have lived all over the Island. I grew up in Parksville & Graduated from NDSS in Nanaimo.

I'm in Port Alberni, I changed it to Port Alberni on my profile, but for some reason it ain't comin' up on the forums.

I've spent 21 years here, I grew up here, I've moved twice (Campbell River and Quadra Island) but keep ending up here. I've never really liked Port Alberni. I just feel it's time to move off the Island. I actually feel that Port Alberni is too big for me. haha

Personally, my favorite town that I've been to is Gold River. Population: 1750. It's also a nice drive from Campbell River, about 45 minutes if I remember right. You guys probably think I'm nuts, but that's just my style. Oh wait, you guys are nuts too anyways. lol

WOW did Gold River have a population boom... Last time I was there (it was still a gravel road from Campbell River). Pop was like 600.. I use to summer on Nootka Island, working at a bible camp as an assistant to the maintenance man..

I've been all over the Island, including hiking the center island trail twice.

Both nice spots. Could be some housing in OK falls with the mill shut down now.
