Wires smoke/Brake fluid boils/But it starts!

Was laid up for three months!
Went out to start up the 1997-F350-4X4-W/460-Fuel-injected-ANDddd
the battery was completely dead and would not take a charge (at-all)
So I get a new 850 cranking amp battery hook it up!
Then the fluid in the master cylinder starts boilint and the ground connections on the ngine to the firewall start smoking...
((( I am totally puzzled )))
The Tork converter electronic selenoid wend bad. Haven't changed it yet.
I don't know where to start..........

((( Anyone got any suggestions )))

About ready to tow it away! Confused!

it sounds like some of your ground wires corroded. By this happening you were'nt getting a good ground and the juice was"pushing" to get to ground. Remove and clean up all ground connections. Go to home depot in the electrical aisle and get a tube of noalox. It is an oxide inhibiting compound that is electrically conductive. Put some on your connection points and put the connections back together. If you want then put a layer over the connections for added protection. As far as your brake fluid it it did indeed boil I would drain the system and replace with fresh fluid.

It sounds like there is something wrong with the large ground cable from the battery. So when you try to start it, the smaller ground wires are trying to carry the load. I would take the large ground cable off both ends and clean it.
