Brand New Bed.....GREAT find!!!!

Through my local Craigs list I found a new bed for my truck WITH tailgate for $500 bucks! Mine that I have now has a half-azzed bondo repair that is starting to chunk off, and would cost me well over the 5 bones to fix. The new one is just that.....brand spankin new, untouched from a 2003 F250. They've had it sitting around in the backyard, he did a flatbed conversion when the truck was brand new and didn't need it! WOO HOO! I think I'll definitely re-coop my costs selling the tailgate and bed seperately from mine

Congratulations on the find. Gotta keep the outside of your truck looking good.

The inside of the bed is completely SPOTLESS.....not one scratch! I'll be doing a real bedliner this time (Line-X) instead of the nasty looking one in my gallery (Herculiner) yuck! And I'll have to remove the factory "4x4" stickers on the sides of bed....which shouldn't be too hard.

Is it the right color?? I still need to replace my bed from my tire issues last summer!! Have a brand new 08 bed, just need to get it painted. 500 bucks is a steal on a new bed especially an older model one.

Yupp....Oxford White! All I have to do is remove the cheezy "4x4" decals from the factory and I'm good to go! Having a friend who is a body man do the swap for me. I might even MAKE money on this deal with selling my bed and tailgate

Yeah tell me about it. We tried the cheap way out and did this on quite a few of our trucks... including mine. Paper thin junk, i dont really even use my bed (well for a few things) and the paint is showing through the liner. Plus another reason to get a Line X is the Herculiner is really rough, hurts my knees and she doesnt like the roughness either.

That line-x isnt goin to be any smoother. My friend is looking into getting those carpet like rugs for his 6.0 (hes got a cap so it will be outa the weather)..and hes got the same problem as you...
