always neat to catch things like that - I'm assuming this was after you stopped somewhere? That's pretty cool

notice the speedo is going 45 (which is actually the speed limit on that road)
I just had the camera in my hand as I was driving, waiting for it to turn.

Cool. I planned my trip home the day my 95 turned 200,000 so I'd be able to stop and take a picture. I think it's in my gallery. It's coming up on 222,222 within the next couple weeks.

Pretty cool.

Running cool, and that oil pressure is higher than mine..... I'm jealous. Mine runs right dead middle of the gauge unless you're idling, then it jumps on the low side. But I'm hoping to get a new motor soon.

surprisingly that was after a few min of running the thing too. The temp is just really low for some reason. My buddy has a very similar 460 truck and we allways joke that if the needle moves past the "O" in 'normal' on the temp gauge were probably screwed. Even under load it hardly budges. I havent really ever been impressed with ford gauges though. Not labling them =

Ever left the oil cap off after changing the oil? that always does interesting things to your pressure...

These oil pressure gauges are just idiot lights with a needle - either on or off.
All my trucks will get real gauges soon, starting with the Explorer.

I like waiting for my Birthday to roll around on the ody, or 777s.

Any recomendations on gauges that dont look completly stupid? I like to keep things as OEM as possible, and all of the neon bowling-ball size gauges look quite dopey if you ask me... at least in an older truck...

Put an Autometer 2-1/16" Oil pressure gauge in an A pillar pod and you will be good to go.
