Flashing Overdrive Switch
My 03 F250 S/D, 6.8L, Auto Trans,2x4, has the overdrive switch flashing and the shifts feel rougher.
I'm taking it to the dealer (unfortunately) to scan and diagnose the problem.
I'm looking for any clues as to what might be the problem?

Until you have the results of the diagnostic scan, it is impossible to do anything other than guess.
All we can tell you is that the computer found something it didn't like and has turned on the OD warning light and has probably dropped into fail-safe mode.
