Can anyone recommend me a GPS unit that has built in maps of the BC forestry road system? That's where I prefer to camp and it would be really handy.
Or is there any way to download this info into a GPS?

I bought this Garmin eTrex Legend HCx GPS Receiver, P/N: 010-00629-00 - GPS City Canada because it fit my budget and needs. It had to do topo maps preferably with a add in memory card, be reliably (Magelleon is just not there in hardware or customer service ) I did not need built in altimeter compass so I saved about $40, most GPS do not come preloaded . Legal topo maps that work with my Garmin are here Home they are from the Canadian Government maps. I did not look at the price point past $270 so I can not say about most other brands.
