I own a Cherokke lite fifth wheel and the shipping weight is 7360 lbs if you add an extra 1000lbs for food etc. is my truck will do the job

Should be fine, I believe your towing capacity is 9500 or so. You should have weight limits in your owners manual.

Well, you know, I like to go fast lol! When I drove cars I only had V-8 Mustangs, but you don't get far in a car out here. Boost can be 5-6 lbs depending on how clean the air filter is at the time, it's not reccomended to go over 7 with a gasoline engine so I've been told.

 

you should be fine.my toy hauler F'ver weighs in just over 10,000 when loaded and I've towed it many times with my 250 (7.3)and had no problems.With the 5.4 some of the hills may seem awful long but the truck itself will handle the load.
